European American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EAcham) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will cooperate with each other in January 2019. With its excellent resource platform, EAcham carries out a series of advertising and promotional campaigns in full range of multi-dimension online and offline for The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, and organize foreign buyers delegation to visit on 14-17 January 2019. The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter provides global exhibitors and buyers with ideal business platform to exchange trends and strengthen cooperation.

The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will stage its 50th edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14-17 January 2019. To celebrate this milestone, the Fair is expected to host some 1,400 exhibitors from around the globe. In 2018, some 14,000 buyers from 76 countries and regions visited this Asia’s largest fashion fair, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as the unrivalled sourcing hub for global fashion traders and retailers.

All-in-One Platform caters to every sourcing need. As the “All-in-One” sourcing platform for fashion buyers, the Fair is strategically designed into themed zones to cater for the sourcing needs of different industry sectors. Buyers are spoiled for choices at the Fair; may it be garments and designer labels or upstream products, such as fabric and clothing accessories, or trade services and new technology. The Fair offers a one-stop solution for every sourcing need.

The Corporate Fashion and Uniforms zone is returning this year after its glorious debut in 2018, a not-to-be-missed for corporations and service providers looking for apparel suppliers for frontline staff. The World of Fashion Accessories also returns by popular demand, bringing together fashion items ranging from shoes and bags to fashion jewellery, scarves and shawls all under one roof. New this year, the Hong Kong Footwear Federation will showcase its latest shoe designs with a fashion parade. The elated return of the two zones have affirmed growth opportunities in both the uniform and accessories markets.

Conventional zones such as Women’s Wear and Knitwear will continue to present basic mass merchandise, while special product zones such as Fashionable Sportswear, Thermal Clothing and Lingerie are set to feature the latest designs on offer. Other zones include Trade Services and Testing Certification & Inspection, which provides comprehensive supply options and services for the industry. To support young creative minds, the Fashion Gallery and the International Fashion Designers’ Showcase are dedicated to unveil the trendiest garment labels by young designers to enhance their international exposure.

Beyond the runway

In addition to a series of fashion parades and the FASHIONALLY Presentation, which opens the doors for designers to launch their latest collections and raise brand awareness, an abundance of spotlight events are streamlined to generate industry synergy, not only for exhibitors to connect with global buyers, but also for industry leaders and experts to share their insights on upcoming fashion trends and latest market intelligence at seminars. Participants can also engage in synergistic exchanges at the popular Networking Reception to extend business networks with industry elites. The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter is at the heart of the industry and the exclusive stage for businesses to unleash their potential.
