With its excellent resource platform, EAcham carries out a series of advertising and promotional campaigns in full range of multi-dimension online and offline for Hong Kong Houseware Fair, and organize foreign buyers delegation to visit on 20-23 April, 2019. The Hong Kong Houseware Fair provides global exhibitors and buyers with ideal business platform to exchange trends and strengthen cooperation.

Asia’s leading HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair is welcoming its 34th edition in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20-23 April 2019. Some 2,200 global exhibitors will showcase a wide range of high-quality household items to global buyers. In 2018, over 29,500 buyers from 112 countries and regions visited the fair.
The houseware industry has been thriving. According to Statista, a leading statistics company, the worldwide revenue in the "Furniture & Homeware" segment amounts to USD225.3 billion in 2019 with an expected annual growth rate of 9.8%. Such revenue is expected to reach USD327 billion by 2023. It also shows that most revenue is generated in Mainland China (over USD80 billion). With the rising potential worldwide, the HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair offers an incomparable platform for suppliers and buyers from across the world to connect and explore business opportunities.
WGSN to Curate the Latest Houseware Trends
HKTDC is partnering with WGSN, a well-known trend forecasting agency, to curate the trend concept display areas, unveiling the Spring/Summer 2020 houseware trends with a variety of houseware and interior design products on display. Meanwhile, WGSN is also organising a trend talk to inspire fair participants on colours, materials, shapes and vibes.
“L.I.F.E.” Theme to Showcase Quality Products
In order to create an easy-to-navigate setting and provide a superior sourcing experience, the Houseware Fair will continue to feature products under four main themes that represent a harmony of “L.I.F.E.”, namely “Lifestyle”, “Interior”, “Feast” and “Enrich”.
Lifestyle – The pursuit of quality life
Zones under “Lifestyle” includes “Hall of Elegance”, “World of Fine Dining”, “World of Fine Decor” and “Green Living”.
Smart Home has been the latest style of living. In the renowned “Hall of Elegance”, Shantou Leqishi Plastic Products Co Ltd, a company from Mainland China, will present their smart home product, KIGI Food Storage Container. Supported by its KIGI app, users can check the food conditions and be inspired of its suggested recipes based on their current stock of food. Other must-have designer collections and brands such as Carl Schmidt Sohn, Dafi, Flonal, Konstar, Kool, Mr Big, Westinghouse, TVS etc. will also be showcased.
Green Living has become another indispensable aspect of life to achieve a greener and more sustainable living environment. In another highlighted zone “World of Fine Dining”, Taiyo Chemicals Co Ltd, a company from Japan, will showcase the LauLau Tableware series which is made in Japan. Being made of recycled bottles collected from schools in the Wakayama prefecture, the tableware is safe for use in microwave and dishwashers. Other latest designs of tableware, kitchenware and wine tools from eminent brands to be featured include Clip Fresh, Cleanwrap, Kobubo, Locksy, Red A etc.
Interior – Styling up your living space
“Interior” is comprised of the debut zone “Candles and Scents” and other zones including “Interior Decor”, “Festive Decor”, “Best of ASEAN”, and “Group Pavilions”. Exquisite decorations which are indispensable for visionary interior design can be found here.
The debut zone “Candles and Scents” will present a wide array of candles and scents products allowing users to enhance their peace of mind. Rodia s.a from Greece will showcase their soy scented candles collection which are made of fine quality of paraffin wax. A spectrum of colours and alluring aromas are available such as orange-cinnamon, milk-chocolate, caramel-vanilla etc.. Aroma customization is also available.
Feast – Tasting the sweetness in life
“Feast” features “Tableware”, “Wine Tools & Accessories”, “Kitchenware & Gadgets” and “Home Appliances” zones. A wide spectrum of refined cooking and dining tools will be showcased. Eastern Rich Industries Ltd from Hong Kong will show silicone straw which is highly transparent and easy to clean. Being reusable and foldable also makes it a good companion for travellers.
Enrich – Infusing vibrancy into life
“Enrich” is where the “World of Pet Supplies”, “Homepedia”, “Baby Products”, “Bath, Beauty & Healthcare”, “Home Cleaning & Laundry”, “Storage Solutions”, “Outdoor & Gardening”, “Furniture”, “Trade Services” and “Startup” can be found. World Wide Daily Holdings Company Limited from Hong Kong will feature their Oral-in-One Floss-Pick-Brush. Its design of the detachable hook toothpick and interdental brush allows deeper access to the interior part of the teeth, reaching the hard-to-reach area without struggling. It is an essential item to improve oral health.
An array of seminars, networking events, product demo and launch pad sessions will be arranged during the fair to facilitate business matching and networking. Held concurrently in the same venue, the HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair will take buyers into the blossoming world of fine textiles.
