Based on the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the Western China International Investment and Trade Fair (referred to as the Western Conference), as a national and international exhibition has become an important platform for regional cooperation and exchanges and foreign economic and trade exchanges in China. It is held once a year and are highly recognized and fully affirmed by all parties involved and domestic and foreign merchants.

 The theme of WCIFIT 2019 is “Opening a New Era and Developing New Roles”, with building the western open platform as the core, highlighting the coordination and cooperation of the western region as a whole. Open and common development will focus on promoting the advantageous industries and investment environment of countries along the “Belt and Road” and brother provinces, cities and regions, and showcasing the advanced technologies, products and equipment of multinational corporations, central enterprises and state-owned enterprises, and further promoting various regions and levels. Special guests for this event include foreign politicians, provincial and municipal leaders, officials of the National Development and Reform Commission, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, the State Council Development Research Center, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the world's top 500, central enterprises, well-known Senior leaders of private enterprises ,Governors of Chongqing city,
