The 11^th China Processing Trade Fair grandly took place on April 18 in Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. This four-day event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the State Intellectual Property Office and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, as well as co-organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Government of Dongguan City and European American Chamber of Commerce.  

As a long-term co-organizer of this fair, European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (refered as EAcham) arranges international delegation of over 200 overseas professional buyers each year. This year, EAcham Global Entrepreneurs Economic and Trade Forum & Demand Analysis for European and American Market & Sourcing Matching Conference.

The Forum & Sourcing Matching Conference was organized by EAcham and highly supported by Dongguan City Government, Dongguan Commerce Bureau, Yang Jiang City Government, Yang jiang Commerce Bureau. The Executive Secretary of China Processing Trade Products Fair , delivered speech about the fair profile, Dongguan’s role in Greater Bay Area to deepen attendees’ understanding of and investment plan in Dongguan. 

The Consulate General of the Republic of Portugal in Guangzhou – Mr. Andre Sobral Cordeiro proposed vision on China-Portugal trade cooperation based on the One Belt One Road initiative. 

Chairwomen of European American Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ms. Gao Ying proposed a new mission “Boost Manufacturing, Accelerate Export” for first time with the processing trade industry growth.

Later, official representatives from Yangjiang City introduced Yang Jiang Knife Expo.

 Furthermore, EAcham invited four speakers- Global Strategy Consultant-Dr. Bradley W. Hall, Instituto Marangoni Institute - Damon Giannoccaro, Director of KPMG – Mr. Bruce X. Liu, and former Argentine diplomat Mario Enrique Quinteros gave informative speeches which helped China manufacturing entered international market and improved branding as well as expanded global business.

Over 200 overseas buyers from 60 countries arranged by EAcham attended the Sourcing Matchmaking Meeting. They came with diverse demand and fully communicated with Chinese companies. Both sides achieved great benefits from the meeting.

The meeting lasted till 12:30 at noon with total involvement of Chinese and overseas companies present. Some of them looked forward to joining more events organized by EAcham and embraced more opportunities in the following years.

European and American Chamber of Commerce and Industry will stick to the mission of One Bridge, Endless Business in the future. We will work hard on two projects-Bring in, and Taking Out, and improve service and competitivity. Ultimately, we will promote production and innovation and thus achieve the mission of Boost Manufacturing, Accelerate Export raised by Ms. Gao Ying.
