2026 Greater Bay Area Auto Show Successfully Concludes

International Buyer Delegation Drives Global Opportunities for Chinese Automotive Brands

From May 29 to 30, 2026, the 2026 (30th) Greater Bay Area Auto Show was successfully held at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center under the theme of “Technology, Future and Market”. Bringing together more than 300 automotive brands and supply chain enterprises, the show featured over 1,300 vehicles and showcased the latest innovations in new energy vehicles (NEVs), intelligent mobility, and future transportation technologies.

During the exhibition, we invited an international buyer delegation consisting of more than 20 automotive dealers, distributors, wholesalers, and traders from 16 countries, including Russia, France, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Algeria, and Bolivia. The delegation attended the opening ceremony and participated in an exclusive VIP guided tour, visiting leading automotive brands such as BYD, Geely, Chery, Lynk & Co, XPENG, and AVATR, gaining first-hand insights into China's rapid advancements in electrification and intelligent vehicle technologies.

To facilitate international business cooperation, a dedicated Vehicle Export & Cross-border Procurement Matchmaking Session was organized during the show. Through pre-event demand analysis and precise business matching, international buyers held in-depth discussions with Chinese automotive manufacturers and suppliers on passenger vehicles, intelligent cockpit systems, and automotive supporting products, resulting in multiple cooperation intentions.

According to preliminary statistics, the delegation expressed purchasing interest in more than 400 vehicles across brands including Geely, BYD, XPENG, Chery, Audi, AVATR, and Li Auto. Strong demand was observed from markets such as Russia, Mongolia, Algeria, Uzbekistan, Mexico, and Morocco, highlighting significant potential for future cooperation.

The event not only provided international buyers with a valuable opportunity to explore China's fast-growing new energy vehicle industry, but also created an efficient platform for Chinese automotive companies to expand into global markets. Through targeted matchmaking and face-to-face business discussions, the event further strengthened connections between Chinese manufacturers and overseas partners, contributing to the international growth of China's automotive industry.
