Chinese authorities have pledged to elevate the reliability of products, a major quality metric, in key manufacturing sectors to enhance national strength in manufacturing, according to a guideline made public on Monday.

 China's centrally-administered State-owned enterprises (SOEs) have been urged to make all-out efforts to secure power supply, said the country's top state-asset regulator on Monday. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council has asked power generation enterprises to do their best in providing power supply. Meanwhile, coal enterprises should make every effort to ensure thermal coal supply.

WeRide, a Chinese autonomous driving company, received its first national license for self-driving vehicles from the United Arab Emirates government on Monday. This is the first national-level autonomous driving license issued in the Middle East.

China announced on Tuesday that it has started talks for a bilateral free trade agreement with Honduras, the Central American country, the Ministry of Commerce said in an online statement. This move was jointly announced by Wang Wentao, Chinese Minister of Commerce, and Fredis Cerrato, minister of economic development of Honduras, via a video conference.

China's GDP is expected to grow 5.4 percent in 2023, according to a report by the Bank of China Research Institute released on Monday. The global services sector recovered steadily in the second quarter of this year and the trend will continue in the third quarter.

The first China Green Computing Power Conference opened in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 2, aiming to promote sustainable computing practices and innovative technologies.
